Ursula, Kan Dapaah should have been part of cabinet – Analyst

A security analyst, Mr Paul Boateng, has criticized President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s 19-member cabinet ministers which is without Ministers of National Security and Communications.

Mr Boateng said in the modern era, security and communication should be paramount to every government and therefore such Ministers should have been considered for the cabinet positions to be able to advise the government on issues on security and communications.

President Akufo-Addo on Thursday presented to Parliament without two key Ministers, that of National Security, Albert Kan Dapaah and Communications, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful.

The list is made up of Ministers of Trade and Industry, Aan Kyeremanten, Finance, Ken Ofori-Atta, Defence, Dominic Nitiwul, Interior, Ambrose Dery and Energy Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh.
