Help reduce teenage pregnancy in the country – Central regional Minister to teachers

On Saturday, 15th May, 2021, the Central Regional Minister,Hon.Justina Marigold Assan joined the 14th Congregation of the alma mater of OLA College of Education, Cape Coast, which was on the theme “Teachers Professionalism in the work of gobal changes in education.”

In the Ministers address, she noted that the most valuable asset of every nation is its human resource, thus, any activity geared towards the development of the human resource must be commended and supported.

She urged the graduates to exhibit professionalism in all aspects of their career because such a virtue play critical role in the upbringing of the younger generation towards achieving their aspirations.

“As a teacher your professionalism compels you to take your responsibility seriously, failing to act professionally may cause you loose trust In your students” she told the graduates.

Finally,she entreated them to make positive impact in the lives of their students and help reduce the prevalence of teenage pregnancy in the country.
